The Young Scholars Program (YSP) of New Jersey SEEDS reaches children at a young age and strives to nurture their love of learning, critical thinking skills, self-confidence, respect for others and sense of responsibility toward the immediate and larger communities.
Three components comprise the 14-month enrichment cycle of the Young Scholars Program. Upon completion, each child will be placed in an academically challenging independent day or boarding school.
“I am very happy to have graduated from the SEEDS program! In my neighborhood, there is a high school right up the street, but my family and I knew that I (and my younger siblings) would NOT go there. We just didn't know where I would go. I'm so glad that SEEDS gave me, as well as my younger sister (SAS Class of 2011, and hopefully, my brother) the opportunity to have a better education. I also met some wonderful people along the way. I made friends that I will have for life and I got into a school that I love. My family and I thank God for the SEEDS program, because it gives students who really want to learn the chance to get the schooling they deserve.”
