Young Scholars Program Overview

The Young Scholars Program (YSP) of New Jersey SEEDS reaches children in 5th and 6th grades and strives to nurture their love of learning, critical thinking skills, self-confidence, respect for others and sense of responsibility toward the immediate and larger communities.

Three components comprise the 14-month enrichment cycle of the Young Scholars Program: a five-week summer session, classes each Saturday during the academic year, and a second five-week summer session. Upon completion, each child will be placed in an academically challenging independent day or boarding school with substantial financial aid packages.

We are grateful to the following foundations for supporting the
Young Scholars Program in FY12:
The MCJ Amelior Foundation, Rivendell Foundation, Sarah Ward Foundation
and Victoria Foundation.
