Ms. Barker is the chair of the board of trustees of Bowdoin College, a trustee of The Pingry School and a trustee emerita of Student/Partner Alliance. For ten years she served as a college counselor at the Chad Science Academy. She has been active in numerous charitable causes in New Jersey. Until 1995, Ms. Barker was a Managing Director of Prudential Securities Inc. Ms. Barker received a B.A. cum laude from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Janice Beckmen
Mrs. Beckmen has been actively involved with New Jersey SEEDS since 2008 with her participation in the Educational Policy and Student Affairs Committee and Friends of SEEDS — a committee of volunteers whose activities support and enhance the social, cultural and academic experiences that SEEDS makes available to its students. This fall, she will also join the Board of Trustees of The Pingry School, where she has been active in the parents’ association and volunteered for The Pingry Fund. Mrs. Beckmen recently completed a two-year term as Co-Chair of the Board for BRIDGES Outreach, Inc., which helps the homeless in Lower Manhattan, Newark, and Irvington. She worked in leveraged finance and private equity at Chase Capital from 1992 to 1996 and in the same capacity at The CIT Group from 1996 to 2000. Mrs. Beckmen earned a B.A. in mathematics and chemistry at Duke University and completed her M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Joel Benenson

Joel Benenson is the President of the Benenson Strategy Group, which he co-founded in 2000. He has served as a strategic analyst and adviser to heads of state, senior members of Congress and other national political leaders, business leaders, and major advocacy and charitable institutions. Benenson offers clients a unique combination of communication expertise and an aggressive analytical approach to produce messaging strategies that work in the most difficult situations. His extensive experience, prior to his becoming a pollster in 1995, includes working as a political journalist for the Daily News in New York and serving as communications director for Gov. Mario Cuomo’s 1994 campaign. He was previously a vice president at the New York ad agency FCB. Benenson was the lead pollster and a senior strategist for President Barack Obama during the 2008 election, and he continues in that role today. He has also been a pollster and strategist for U.S. senators, governors and mayors from around the country. He played an integral role as a pollster for the DCCC in 2006, when the Democrats won back the majority in the House of Representatives. The team Benenson was on won eight of 10 races, including three in which incumbents were defeated. During his career, Benenson has worked directly on research projects for some of America’s most prominent CEOs, including Procter & Gamble’s A.G. Lafley, General Electric’s Jack Welch and AOL’s Bob Pittman. He has also helped guide corporate clients through some of the most notable communication challenges in the past decade. He was the lead strategic researcher for Procter & Gamble’s launch of Olestra, the fat substitute; he was instrumental in helping AOL manage its capacity crisis in the late ’90s; and he helped a New York City coalition block Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s plans for an Olympic stadium in Manhattan. Benenson is also the co-founder of iModerate Research Technologies, an innovative research company that uses highly trained moderators to conduct real-time surveys among online respondents. Robert G. Cox retired in 2000 as President of Summit Bancorp, at the time, a $40 billion New Jersey bank holding company. Mr. Cox was appointed President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Summit Bank in 1980. He became its Chief Executive Officer as well as President of The Summit Bancorporation in 1987. In January 1994, he became Chief Executive Officer of The Summit Bancorporation. Upon the merger of UJB Financial Corp. and The Summit Bancorporation in March 1996, he became President of the newly formed Summit Bancorp and a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to joining Summit Bank in 1973 as Vice President in the Mortgage Department, Mr. Cox was a Vice President and Mortgage Officer at the Watertown Savings Bank in Watertown, New York, and previously served as a Mortgage Officer and Assistant Secretary at the Colonial Bank and Trust Company in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mr. Cox attended Mohawk Valley College in Utica, New York graduating in 1960 with a degree in banking, insurance and real estate. Active in numerous business and community service organizations, Mr. Cox is a former Chairman of the New Jersey Bankers Association, served on its Board of Directors and was active in the industry for many years through membership in the Financial Services Roundtable and the American Bankers Association. He was a Director of the New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, a Director of the New Jersey Reinsurance Company, and a Trustee of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Bay View Capital Corporation and Bay View Bank, San Mateo, California from May 2001 until October 2002. He is a former Director of Ryan Beck & Co. He is a former director of Federal Trust Corporation and Federal Trust Bank, Sanford, Florida. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of First Southern Bancorp and First Southern Bank. He is past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New Jersey SEEDS. Mr. Cox and his wife, Christine, are residents of Sarasota, Fl. and spend portions of the year in Martha’s Vineyard, MA and Far Hills, N.J. Mr. Cox is the father of four daughters and has eight grandchildren.

Ronni Denes is President of New Jersey SEEDS, a nonprofit organization that enables high-achieving, low-income students to excel in rigorous academic environments. Serving students and families in central and northern New Jersey, SEEDS provides enriched education, cultural opportunities and life skills training, in preparation for placement, with substantial financial aid, in some of the nation’s leading schools and colleges. Ms. Denes is a lifelong champion of access to education. Before joining SEEDS, she served at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, an all honors college in New York City that provides a full tuition scholarship to every admitted student. As vice president and then senior vice president for External Affairs and Strategic Planning, she played a critical role during a period of exceptional institutional growth, leading the college’s highly successful capital campaign and a public relations effort that leveraged significant New York City support for Cooper Union’s master redevelopment plan. A contributor to research and practice in education, she was chief operating officer of NACME, Inc. (National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering) before moving to Cooper Union. NACME is a not-for-profit organization that creates entrée to careers in science- and mathematics-based fields. Responsible for NACME’s research effort – the nation’s leading source of data and analysis on factors that influence education for the technical workforce -- Denes is co-editor of Access Denied; Race, Ethnicity and the Scientific Enterprise published by Oxford University Press. She began her career as a teacher and curriculum development specialist in the New York City Public Schools, and became a consultant to the Chancellor of the New York City Board of Education. Active in civic and social nonprofits throughout her career, Ms. Denes currently serves on the Board of Directors of Art & Remembrance and as president of the Board of Westbeth Center for the Arts. She holds a master's degree in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College.

Mr. Lubke is the chief regulatory reform officer of the Securities Division of Goldman Sachs. He joined the company as a managing director in 2010. Prior to his engagement with the firm, he worked for 15 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he most recently led international regulatory efforts to reform the OTC derivatives markets. He was previously responsible for developing central bank policies for payment, settlement and clearing systems, and managing the New York Fed’s Fedwire operations. Before joining the New York fed in 1995, Mr. Lubke was a staff member of the National Economic Council at the White House. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers. From 2008 to 2012, Ms. O’Neill served as vice president of communications and programs at the Fannie E. Rippel Foundation, a charitable foundation dedicated to catalyzing innovation in healthcare. Previously, from 1997 to 2007, Ms. O’Neill built and led the New Jersey corporate giving, sponsorship, and employee volunteer programs of Bank of America (BAC) and its predecessors Fleet, Summit, and NatWest. Over eleven years, she directed the awarding of nearly $40 million in investments to non-profits focused on economic development, arts and culture, and education. Prior to that, Ms. O’Neill managed corporate communications and public relations for Drexel Burnham Lambert, Christie’s Auction House, and Burson-Marsteller in New York City. Ms. O’Neill is an active social sector volunteer, serving for many years as a Trustee of the Boards of the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers, NJ SEEDS, and the Union Foundation. She is a former Trustee of the Newark Museum, the Community FoodBank of NJ, and was President of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. Ms. O’Neill is a recipient of Newark Now’s 2005 Spirit of Newark Corporate Leadership Award, the 2003 Aletha Wright Volunteer Leadership Award from the Graduate Organization of Leadership New Jersey, and the Executive Women of New Jersey’s 2002 Salute to the Policy Makers Award. A fellow of the Class of 2001 of Leadership New Jersey, Ms. O’Neill holds a B.A. from Vassar College. She is a resident of Hunterdon County.

Susan later worked as a freelance consultant to a diverse group of corporations and not-for-profit organizations. As a SEEDS trustee, Susan founded Friends of SEEDS, a volunteer group that helps support, enhance and enrich the experience of SEEDS’ scholars and alumni. She is currently on the Fund Development Committee of Project Morry, a year-round youth development organization, and is involved with the Visual Art Center of New Jersey in Summit. A former board member of the South Orange-Maplewood Education Foundation, Susan is active with the parents associations at both Kent Place School and the Pingry School. She is a graduate of Tufts University and participates in the Tufts Alumni Admissions Program, serving as an interviewer.

M. Randall Strickland

Mr. Strickland heads the insurance and investment practice at City National Investment Services. CNIS is a division of City National Bank of New Jersey, a progressive and community-focused financial institution committed to fostering economic stability and financial equity within urban communities. He has over 20 years of experience in the asset management arena. He previously oversaw investment sales and distribution for ImpactAssets. Earlier in his career, he served in senior marketing/consultant roles for firms including Principal Global Investors, BNY Mellon Asset Management, American Century Investment Management and RCM Capital Management. Mr. Strickland’s background also includes earlier affiliations with Schroders, Commonfund and TIAA-CREF. Mr. Strickland serves on the boards of New Jersey SEEDS, Seton Hall Preparatory School and the Montclair (NJ) Public Library Foundation. He is also active in the Cornell Alumni Association, Cornell Black Alumni Association, the Griffin-Bridges Scholarship Program at Seton Hall Prep, and the Global Leadership and Achievement Foundation of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Jersey City Alumni Chapter. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Arts from New York University.

Andy is a founding partner of Notch Partners, LLC, a specialized human capital consulting firm serving private equity buyout clients. Prior to founding Notch Partners, Andy was Managing Director of Primedia Ventures, where he co-managed two private equity investment funds. Through investments in 17 private companies, the firm generated top-quartile returns. In that capacity, he served on several boards of directors, providing strategic oversight and helping to build top-caliber management teams for the portfolio companies. Previously, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Andy has been a co-founder or early employee of three successful startup businesses. Andy is a frequent speaker to senior executive audiences, addressing the topics of career transition and executive relationships with private equity buyout investors. He is on the board of trustees for New Jersey SEEDS, an academic and leadership program for high-achieving, low-income youth. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Born in Pasadena, California, Mr. Vignolo attended Yale University, graduating in 1965. He worked in the textile industry for several companies, with more than 20 years in senior management positions with a focus on marketing. He attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 1980. He owned William Blake Associates, a distributor of promotional products from 1994 until 2004, when he sold the company to Drew & Rogers, where he was a consultant until 2006. Mr. Vignolo is now a resident of Williamsburg, VA

Art Weinbach

Mr. Weinbach has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of CA Technologies since May 2010 and has served as a director since 2008. From 2007 to June 2010, Mr. Weinbach was Executive Chairman and from July 2010 to November 2011 non-executive Chairman of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. He is the past Chairman and CEO of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., a $7.8 billion computerized services firm that provides payroll processing, human resource management systems, benefits administration services, securities transaction processing, investor communications, automotive dealer systems management and insurance claim processing services to approximately 550,000 clients worldwide. He joined ADP in 1980, after serving as partner at Touche Ross, where he was employed from 1966-1979. Mr. Weinbach received a B.S. in Economics and a Master of Science in Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He served on the Board of Directors of Schering-Plough Corporation and First Data Corporation, as well as New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Weinbach co-chaired SEEDS’ capital campaign, and is currently chair of the Committee on Trustees and co-chair of the Advisory Board.

Larry Wieseneck

Larry Wieseneck is Chief Strategy Officer for Corporate and Investment Banking at Barclays. Previously, he was Head of Global Finance and Risk Solutions, a position he held since September 2008 when Barclays Capital acquired the U.S. assets of Lehman Brothers. Prior to the acquisition, Larry co-created and co-led the Global Finance business at Lehman Brothers from 2003 to 2006 and became sole Head of Global Finance in late 2006. He is a member of the Barclays Capital Investment Banking Executive Committee. During his tenure at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Wieseneck held various senior roles within the organization including Head of Global Convertible Origination, Head of U.S. Equity Capital Markets and Co-Head of Global Finance. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1997, Mr. Wieseneck worked at Salomon Brothers from 1992 to 1997, The Alcar Group from 1988 to 1992 and Peterson & Company from 1987 to 1988. Mr. Wieseneck earned his M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
