Associate Dean, Scholars Programs
Samantha joined NJ SEEDS in May 2016 as the Program Officer for the Scholars Program. Prior to this, she served as the Site Dean and College Coach for the inaugural class of SEEDS’ College Scholars. Previously, she was a College Advisor and member of the Community Leadership Team at People’s Prep Charter School, where the scope of her work focused on staff retention, college/career-readiness programming, and student advocacy, engagement and persistence in high school and beyond. For the last nine years, Samantha has immersed herself in public service with a personal mission of informing and preparing motivated, high-achieving students and their families for the unique educational opportunities available to them. Samantha received her Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University and her undergraduate degree in Managerial Communications and Writing from the College of St. Elizabeth. She is a workout fanatic, an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and a Haitian organization that supports educational efforts and promotes civic engagement among the island’s young people. Samantha hopes to continue being a beacon of service, support and leadership in this role and looks forward to taking this journey with everyone on board.
