Scholars Program Eligibility

Candidates for the Scholars Program must both live in and attend a public or charter school in a low-income community. Candidates who attend a private parochial school should contact us at admissions@njseeds.org to verify their eligibility. They must have a strong academic record and demonstrate strong academic potential. In addition, families must meet our financial guidelines.

    For each additional dependent, add $10,000.

Like all SEEDS programs, the Scholars Program is open to high-achieving students from low-income communities. 

All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents residing in the state of New Jersey. A Social Security number or Permanent Resident Card/Resident Alien Card (Form I-551, aka Green Card) will be required for verification.

All SEEDS programs are free of charge to participants.
