SEEDS Class of 2018 Heads to NYC for Annual Arts Trips

Toward the end of their spring SEEDS experience, all SEEDS scholars in the Class of 2018 traveled to New York for a museum visit and Broadway show.

On Saturday, April 21, College Scholars seniors toured The Morgan Library and Museum. There, seniors had the opportunity to see a special exhibit on Tennessee Williams. Afterwards, College Scholars visited Ellen’s Stardust Diner for lunch and then headed to see A Bronx Tale on Broadway. View photos from their day.

Scholars and Young Scholars had their turns on Saturday, May 5. Accompanied by volunteer chaperones, students toured The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Scholars were each asked to select a piece of artwork prior to the museum visit. Students researched this piece of art, and then presented details on it to their classmates. Check out our Scholars’ selfies from the day!

After their visit to the Met, Scholars and Young Scholars moved to Times Square for lunch at Dallas BBQ. Scholars then had the chance to see Once on This Island; Young Scholars saw Disney’s Aladdin. View photos from the trip.
