Public Transportation:
From the Broad Street Train Station – With the train station at your back, walk down Lackawanna Ave./Rosario Focus Sq., and turn right on Broad St. Our building, 494 Broad, is on the northeast corner of Broad St. and Bridge St., two blocks down on your left.
From Newark Penn Station – Take the Broad St. – Penn Station Light Rail to the Atlantic St. stop (approximately 5 minutes). Walk north on Atlantic St., turn left onto Bridge St., then right onto Broad St. Our building, 494 Broad, will be immediately on your right.
By Bus – Take any bus that stops at the Broad Street Station Bus Stop. With the station at your back, walk down Lackawanna Ave./Rosario Focus Sq., and turn right on Broad St. Our building, 494 Broad, is on the northeast corner of Broad St. and Bridge St., two blocks down on your left.
Driving Directions:
From Route I-78E – Take Exit 57, following signs for Route 21 North/Newark. As soon as you merge onto Route 21, make your way over to the far right lane for the Broad St. exit. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed for approximately 2 miles on Broad St., then make a left hand turn onto Lackawanna Ave., which is right before the Broad St. train station. Take your first left onto University Ave, and then the next left onto Orange St. and enter the parking lot immediately on your left. Walk back to Broad St, cross to the other side, turn right, and our building, 494 Broad St., will be immediately on your left.
From Route I-280W – Take Exit 14/ML King Blvd., and go right at the end of the ramp. At the first light, turn left onto Orange St., proceed through the next light (University Ave.) then take your first right into the parking lot on your left. Walk back to Broad St, cross to the other side, turn right, and our building, 494 Broad St., will be immediately on your left.
From the New Jersey Turnpike South – Take Exit 13A toward Newark Airport. Merge onto Routes 1 & 9N, then follow signs to Route 21 North. As soon as you merge onto Route 21, make your way over to the far right lane for the Broad St. exit. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed for approximately 2 miles on Broad St, then make a left hand turn onto Lackawanna Ave., which is right in front of the Broad St. train station. Take your first left onto University Ave, and then the next left onto Orange St. and enter the parking lot immediately on your left. Walk back to Broad St, cross to the other side, turn right, and our building, 494 Broad St., will be immediately on your left.
From the New Jersey Turnpike North – Take Exit 15W, Route I-280W toward Newark/Kearny. Proceed on I-280W to Exit 15A, Route 21 South/McCarter Highway. Take a right onto Route 21. At the first light, turn right onto Bridge St. and, after one block, make a right hand turn onto Atlantic St. Atlantic St. curves around to the left and ends at Broad St. Go straight across Broad St. onto Orange St. Proceed approximately 100 yards and enter the parking lot on your right (the second one you come to). Walk back to Broad St., cross to the other side, turn right, and our building, 494 Broad St., will be immediately on your left.
From the Garden State Parkway, North or South – Take Exit 145, Route I-280 East toward Newark. Follow directions for Route I-280W above.

SEEDS not only helped open up opportunities for my education and career, but most importantly, helped shape my way of thinking and set a foundation for my desire to learn and to achieve. By attending the program with other young, diverse students, I learned to be open to others' perspectives, which has helped build my intellectual curiosity. When I think about all the achievements in my life, the opportunities that I have taken advantage of, and the interests and curiosities that I’ve developed, I always think about how this all stems from the learning and growth experience that I had with the SEEDS program at a very young age. New Jersey SEEDS set the foundation for me to explore my intellectual curiosities and to achieve my goals, and I am very thankful for that opportunity."
